  • This includes verifying all paperwork is completed and correct, Purchase Order is signed and dated properly, finding and computing all incentives available for each machine, using main frame system to assign each machine to end user, purchasing extended warranties on each machine, apply available incentives and cost to each machine, processing customer invoice accurately by verifying account(s), serial number of equipment being sold, salesman number, sales price, sales tax and location that each machine is being sold out of
  • Handled accounts receivable position from 2016 until 2020 with Murphy
  • These duties included analyzing and researching customer account issues in timely manner, correctly applying payments to accounts, managing past due accounts for all 31 locations, setting up demand letters for controller, creating customer accounts for billing purposes and posting petty cash entries.

  • This was done by processing and tracking release of material from suppliers and ports, accounting for all materials being shipped per OSHA guidelines, working with different transport companies and being responsible for material delivery status.
  • Reviewed accounts, resolved coding areas, and tracked recurring expenses for accrual entry.
  • Provided journal entries and performed accounting on accrual basis.

Accounts Receivable/Manufacturing Scheduler

  • This role was split into two areas of control office
  • First task was to assist Production Scheduler with timely manufacturing of units by accessing reports and sales forecasts to line out which finished products were to be prioritized and schedule out for 10-14 manufacturing days
  • Latter tasks included efficiently process incoming payments to customer accounts, post entries in general ledger, handle new account set up and approval through controller.
