I am a very dedicated and experienced individual no matter the work setting that surrounds me. Speaking with patients on the daily, solving customer problems in retail settings or having a full day of busy work where every minute of the job counts. I will stay focused and dependable no matter the goals that are to be achieved by the end of the day. I am committed to my work and a very reliable individual. I try and push myself every single day to not only receive the sense of achievement but also to know that I helped the company make a positive impact in the community.
I work as a pharmacy cashier at the company of Rite Aid. Every morning when I come into work I call designated patients and let them know their prescriptions are filled and ready to be picked up. I fold up patient monographs and pair them with the medications that have been filled, I fax over important requests to other pharmacies, clinics, and doctors, and help keep the pharmacy and all the shelves organized, stocked, and updated. Every once in a while I scan in a patient annual review sheet into their profiles to help keep personal information up to date.
My job at the Salem Clinic was to be a screener. I was stationed by the entrance greeting patients as they came in for their appointments. I checked patients in for the appointment, took their temperatures, gave them a mask, asked if they're feeling any covid like symptoms, and guided them in the right direction. If they were feeling sick that day I had a different routine to follow. I wrote down their date of birth, first and last name, the doctor they were seeing and the symptoms they were experiencing. Then I would call up a nurse and take the patient to a designated waiting area to have additional screening be done. Every morning and evening I was in charge of locking up the clinic entrance and turning on the door alarm system.
- I was scheduled about 30 hours a week
I worked at Burlington as a seasonal employee. I was in the back room where all the products would arrive and be prepared for the customers to purchase. I was in charge of attaching the price tags to the corresponding clothing and if the item fell under a certain category I would pin on an alarm system. I would then bring out the clothes into the store and hang them in the correct departments, clean up the aisles, and answer any questions a customer might have. I would unbox all sorts of merchandise, stick on barcodes and bring them out on the floor where they can then be sold. Occasionally, I would help bring out tables or big display sets to help get ready for the holidays or any big sales the store was having.
I was hired at Amazon to work as a packer once the pandemic hit. I'd get assigned a packing station before I started work. I would get a cage full of orders, pull it to my station, and start scanning the items. Each station had it's own computer and barcode scanner so I would take each product, scan it, pack a box and put the product in. After I would put a barcode on the outside of the box I'd send it down the conveyor and repeat that until my cage was empty.
-I did temperature checks at the front of the building. Before a person was allowed to enter and start work I would make sure their temperature fell between a certain range. Once they were checked and let through I would give them a mask if they needed it, then they could begin working.
-The last thing I did at Amazon was social distance monitoring. I would get a clipboard with a paper of all the different departments inside the warehouse. I would then walk around checking if everyone had their masks on correctly at all times, if they were six feet apart from each other, and if they had all the required sanitation supplies at each station.
-I worked full time, 40 hours a week
- I am a fluent speaker, reader, and writer in Russian and English
- I took an intercultural communications course and a pharmaceutical drug classifications course at Chemeketa
