In an effort to satisfy a lifelong interest in locomotives, I was grateful to accept a cross-functional conductor position with one of America's largest railroads. My duties include, but are not limited to:

• Schedule management; on-time delivery of interstate goods or passengers
• Conferred with engineers regarding train routes, timetables and cargoes and discussed alternative routes in response to rail defects or obstructions
• Preparation and management of inbound/outbound trains, inventory, and storage
• Maintained detailed records of train movements, incidents, and maintenance activities as required by company policy and federal regulations
• Coordination with outside railroads and customers
• On call availability for immediate travel to assist or assume duties as needed

Building on my experience with process implementation and management, I was given a project-based opportunity to work directly alongside our CEO and technical team designing and developing processes and applications using artificial intelligence for data extraction, visualizations, and text communication.

Core responsibilities:

• Engineering AI prompts for specific outputs (AI-generated text, SQL, dates, etc.)
• Chaining multiple models and external APIs
• Sample testing (measuring success/failure rates of AI prompts)
• Monitor and refine AI outputs
• Contribute to UI design and React components

Notable projects:

• Designed AI prompts to successfully engage external users in human-like conversation, simultaneously guiding them through multiple pathways while collecting and triaging relevant data
• Developed a proof-of-concept application using artificial intelligence to enable non-technical users to convert basic text commands into detailed data visualizations
• Developed a Virtual Recruiting Assistant application using artificial intelligence and external APIs to source new vendors, manage statuses, and monitor lead performance

Primarily functioned as the Process Improvement Manager with oversight of our Risk Management department. Additionally, I've held various project-based positions with the company as the Senior Operations Analyst, Quality Control Manager, Resident Experience Manager, and Recruiting Manager.

Notable Projects:

• Built and managed a Quality Control Department, while developing the corresponding web application that substantially improved workflow efficiency and increased maintenance revenue from $1.3M monthly gross
• Automated data extraction via web-scraping APIs and various data sources, saving considerable man-hours necessary to collect data
• Designed vendor performance scorecards, employee assessments and incentive plans
• Built a Resident Experience team, significantly improving call center performance from 95% call answer rate, and satisfaction ratings from 2.7 stars to 4.3 stars by encouraging staff buy-in, revising staff schedules, outsourcing overflow calls during off hours to a 3rd party, implementing new modes of communication, continuous monitoring of performance, and incentivizing measurable performance
• Developed a web app to collect vendor data; improving the company's ability to record real-time location data and enabling faster assignment times based on vendor qualification and service type
