Supervise, instruct seasonal and alternative workforces assigned to the maintenance, protection and operation of swimming pool and comfort stations

Perform site inspections, generate work requests via AMPS, schedule and approve staff time worked by employees via City Time

Ensure that pool areas are safe, clean and attractive to the patrons, Correct safety hazards immediately

Conduct regular testing of water chemistry to conform with Federal, State and City requirements

Prepare reports and forms on a weekly basis with various City agencies

Open parks, playgrounds and comfort stations, inspect and report any irregularities that must be addressed immediately

Perform, train and supervise seasonal aide in the recovery and disposal of waste in a timely manner via packer

Coordinate and supervise seasonal and alternative workforce at special events , which entails site preparation, equipment transportation, seating and clean-up

Operated heavy duty equipments such as jack hammer, hydraulic pounder, back hoe, container truck

Installed and repaired fences, Belgian and Hex blocks, paved surfaces, safety surfaces in playgrounds, parks and greenstreets

Worked closely with plumbers to excavate and expose broken pipes within parks and playgrounds

Assist with events including tent set-up and other functions as assigned by Borough Management
