- Also, as a Quality Inspector 2, I inspect masking of parts before processing which requires blueprint reading and also understanding and communicating with customers purchase orders and requests
- I also disposition non-conformance reports created by fellow inspectors and production base on the criteria of specs, part and customer history as well as communicate with customers
- I gather information from all the reports and disposition created by our company and our customer so have a database useful to the both production and quality department

- I perform and train team members on all inspections in our Quality Department ranging from receiving, in-process, and final inspections, as well as the signing off the product shipment
- I once oversee the receiving inspections until moved to my current delegation managing the final inspection
- In final inspection, we inspect samples of our finished product as well as additional sample taken throughout the whole production process base on different specifications and requirements per product
- We review and verify our batch records that all necessary documents are present, properly filled and compiled
- When the lot passed, we certify and release it for shipment
- We produce and send our Certification of Conformance/Analysis, or upload it in our website, to our customers
- And, we properly store and document the samples inspected for retentions
- I oversee this whole process and ensures its quality, accuracy, and speed by making checklist, procedures and having great communication and work relation with team members doing the inspection
- Although I'm currently in charge of the Final Inspection, I still perform and train new members on other functions/ inspections of our Quality Department
- In addition, I've helped in the creation of an inspection procedure for a new production process in the company
- I've also made checklist and procedures that aids training and guides new and current team members
- In receiving inspection, we use tools like calipers, comparators, torque testers, and different gauges to test raw materials used in the creation of our product and ensure it complies our companies specification
- Samples are also collected per lot number and kept for retention
- In in-process inspection, we do an initial inspection and sign off on productions
- We routinely do inspections on different productions, in process, from modifying raw materials, production of our different devices, to labeling, packing and packaging
