Summary

For 18 years I ran a very successful training operation which focused on developing horses and riders' skills to enable them to compete at a national level. An important aspect of the business was fostering partnerships between customers and having clear communication. Teaching horses and riders has allowed me to utilize many of the skills I learned while in college. After many years of traveling and operating a business, I returned to the school setting and have been teaching in a self contained middle school classroom for students with intellectual and emotional/behavioral disabilities. I continued to train my own personal horses and give riding lessons. While I love teaching, my passion is horses and being in a barn/outdoors.
