Additional Information

My current assignment with the ACLU of Missouri is P.A.U.S.E. (Project against unjust suspensions and expulsions.) The focus is to disrupt the School to Prison Pipeline (STPP). The project involves data collecting through community events and kitchen table talks with community leaders, research, and collaboration with our sister project in St. Louis. The idea is to determine what effects does school related punishment play in a student's pathway to prison, what factors determine the level of punishment, and to develop a clear understanding of which students are most impacted.
