• I took a promotion to relieve the charge when no charge nurse is available; during this role, I have been prepared as the lead nurse of the unit. I assist the staff when the patients require further attention, assist families in times of need, provide guidance to the staff, and manage discharges, ordering and evaluating the need for equipment, conflict resolution, and education for families and staff. I review reports, verify crash carts, lead nurse rounding and huddles, and stand behind my floor nurses in any assistance they may need. I have also participated in peer-review interviews for upcoming possible applicants, participated in unit manager meetings, and held responsibilities for conflict resolution involving staffing issues. This preparation has guided me to provide my assistance as a charge nurse for other units within the hospital as well.

• I work as a bedside nurse on a cardiac/telemetry unit, focusing on cardiac care needs, operating, and handling the care of a patient requiring cardiac drip medications and extensive telemetry monitoring, such as those post-coronary artery bypass graft. I float within the facility when needed, and I have acquired training for those med-surg, acute care units, post-surgical, and stroke units, where I incorporate my bedside skills. As a bedside nurse, I provide patient and family education, assistance, compassion, and empathy to assist my patients and their families in their time of need. I also participate as a student preceptor, mentor, and orient new nurses. My current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH are up to date.

• I helped all customers who entered our store with everyday products. I am also experienced in helping set up cellular phones for customers, selling them the coverage and plans they need. When I became a manager, my duties were to complete payroll, morning paperwork, work brain schedules, and deposits, and control a full staff with their daily duties.

• I was a front and drive line dipper and wrapper for all the rushes. When it was slow, I went out and asked customers if they needed anything.

• I assisted all my clients with anything they needed. If I had to go out to stores or banks, I would for them. I also assisted in taking them to the doctor, hairdresser, or grocery store.

I assisted elderly patients with their needs. I worked in a specialized unit for Alzheimer's disease by providing compassionate care in their daily living and personal hygiene tasks.
