Additional Information

My duties as an outreach supervisor included deploying team into the transit train station such as Penn Station to observe report and assist the homeless population in securing temporary housing. I was also tasked in completing daily shift reports briefing and debriefing of information related to homeless related duties and also providing data analysis for the shift.

Some of my greatest accomplishments was on a daily basis at least 10 to 15 individual will be encountered and given the opportunity to go to transitional housing such as shelter or safe havens.

Another important element that I considered accomplishment is the fact that we were able to link individual who needed medical care, mental health care or substance use care to programs that meet their needs.

My team was very much responsible for the reduction in the number of homeless clients in and around Penn Station.
