Competitive Mounted Orienteering

I am a part of a club called competitive mounted orienteering (CMO.) It is called the thinking horse sport, where I ride my horse in a team of up to 6, and try to find markers in the woods using compass bearings. There are two courses the short course is 5-10 miles with only 5 markers, the long course is 10-15 miles, with 10 markers. The team that finds the most, with the fastest time wins the event. Not only do you ride the events, but, everyone takes turn in setting up and hosting a ride each year.
