• Perform wire bonding and ball bonding on ASICs and neural probes.
• Diagnose and Troubleshoot Ball Bonder 4524D, Wire Bonder 4123, and 4523AD.
• Soldering and solder-reflow of custom parts and SMDs to PCBs and custom prototype boards.
• Conduct performance and reliability testing of the electrical and/or optical properties of miniature assemblies.
• Automate electrical bench testing and measure electrical properties, e.g. Leakage current and impedance spectroscopy using Intan.
• Characterizing Intan for measuring electrode impedance and with an LCR meter.
• PCB design using PADS layout in order to support the microfluid group in making a stencil from PDMS.
• EMI simulation of a 4-layer stack PCB using Hyperlynx 3D EM and extracting S-parameters.
• LabVIEW based GUI for Laser diode in neural application

Completes projects and experiments by assisting project team and attending and participating in group and project meetings
