- Customer Information (CIF) is a consolidation of various projects and services with mainframe technology interfaced with Mulesoft/TIBCO service whereas Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) team is involved in development and enhancement activities. This team integrates with the mentioned tasks: Bankpro based client notebook, CICS based screens, Batch sync process, client central through which the new customer and customer maintenance activity is carried out. Other than this CIF system supports other affiliate systems of Truist such as Investment, Insurance, Trust, Scott and string fellow, Sheffield, Retail contact management (RCM) and safebox, etc. This CIF system is a repository application tightly woven around other applications.
- The CIF application follows the SDLC lifecycle i.e. gathers the requirement from Line of Business(LoB), prepares Low level design document, Peer review of the design document, code changes, SIT, UAT and then implementation in the production environment. This application also works on the maintenance activities, Research and analysis, and providing special support on Disaster recovery (DR) activities.
- The Project follows on Onsite-Offshore model with 6 at Onshore & 14 at Offshore.
- Carried out the following activities:
- I have worked on creating the low-level design from requirement document & High level design document.
- I have designed new online adapters for CIF Line of Business operations team to update customer information.
- I have worked on various CIF integration projects. I have worked on integrating many Truist applications like Regional Acceptance Corporation (Truist affiliate) loans, Global Trading Solution (GTS), Sheffield loans. As part of the integrations millions of customer records are loaded in to CIF system & they are being maintained on a daily basis through batch interface. Also these new customer records are being sent to downstream applications(KYC, Financial Crimes, Customer risk rating, etc.) for their consumption.
