Currently, I hold the position of my FFA chapters’ Chaplin. Previously, I served as the president of my local 4H chapter and sentinel for my local FFA chapter also. I was also honored to attend the National Young Leaders of America Conference in Washington, D.C., organized by Envision by World Strides. This conference provided me with invaluable opportunities to enhance my leadership abilities and connect with young leaders from across the United States. Additionally, I have had the privilege of speaking at numerous public events, which I have achieved through my leadership and ability to effectively engage audiences. Furthermore, I was recognized with the Star Greenhand Award and chapter farmer awards for my contributions and achievements in my local FFA chapter. I also was a key part in the success of the Childress FFA Ag mechanics program where I learned problem solving, how to properly and efficiently weld with both MIG and Stick welding processes, and even began to learn how to run autocad I have also excelled in speaking and critical thinking competitions where I had to think of something and build industry standard projects and do it within 30 minutes in a high stress environment through FFA. And also in my capacity as a community volunteer, I have engaged in various service activities, including organizing canned food drives, fundraising efforts for the panhandle fires in spring 2024, participating in consecutive park clean-up events, providing culinary assistance at various events, and distributing food to those in need.
