2 Years 11 Months- Covid ICU RN contract through Krucial Staffing during the delta and omicron covid variant surge, providing relief in a small rural hospital west of Houston,TX.
- After moving to the area I continued to work with this hospital through their internal contract working on the telemetry unit. Hospital wanted me to switch positions to the Emergency Department and gave me the training as an ED RN in a level IV trauma facility. 04/2022-10/2022 and 03/2023-05/2024(contract and PRN)
ICU RN Float Pool(travel contract)
4 Months- Three month travel contract as a float pool ICU Nurse, including Cardiac, Trauma, and Med/Surg ICU units
ICU RN- Covid contract
2 Months- A short Covid ICU contract through Favorite Staffing, during a declining period of US covid cases. Contract ended when the admitted covid positive patients were at a manageable level.

3 Months- A three month Covid ICU contract through Favorite Staffing
RN- COVID ICU Travel Contract
3 Months- My second contract through Krucial Staffing, in a Covid ICU during the pandemic.
RN Covid ICU
6 Months- Covid ICU crisis response contract with Krucial Staffing during the first wave of the Covid-19 Pandemic
- Working in a high stress environment, managing the most critical patients with Covid-19 working six twelve hour shifts per week.
- After three months on this six month contract I was promoted to the charge nurse over a 150 bed Covid unit, with 50/150 of the beds being an ICU unit
RN ICU Float Pool/ Rapid Response Team
1 Year- First Travel Contract with Faststaff in a float pool ICU position at a prestigious 900 bed level 1 hospital in Boston, MA.
- Provided flexibility being able to work in multiple intensive care units: Cardiac; Cardiothoracic; Trauma; Medical; Surgical; Neuro; Pulmonary.
- During the contract, the Covid-19 pandemic started and for the last 6 months I was moved the Code Blue/Rapid Response team, responding to all emergency codes throughout the hospital
- My contract ended once I exceeded the 1 year limit for a travel nurse
RN-ICU
3 Years 2 Months- Starting as a new graduate initially on a high acuity Telemetry unit taking care of 7-8 patients post heart catheterization and stent placement, and managing patients on amioderone, diltiazem, Heparin, nitroglycerin, and dobutamine gtts.
- Transferred to ICU after 6 months of experience
- Gained proficient knowledge in a 50 bed General ICU unit caring for the most critical patients in southeast Mississippi.
