• Using a variety of clinical knowledge in a prehospital setting to provide accurate and detailed patient assessments, treatments and interventions in a timely fashion such as: ability to read and interpret 12 lead ECGs, STEMI activations, STROKE activations, baby deliveries, trauma calls with multiple thoracentesis, providing advanced respiratory care with C-PAP, and CPR high quality resuscitations. knowledge of aseptic technique, IV/IO establishment, medication interactions and administration, pathophysiology and pharmacology

• Contributing to community outreach efforts through participation in Community standby events for elementary schools teaching children about EMS, SIM laboratory training with Kaiser Oakland pilot program for advanced medical training, continuing education courses

• 911 Paramedic, multiple trauma and critical medical aid calls in a rural 911 setting with limited resources and difficult access including hiking into remote locations followed by long transport times and limited cell service

• Serving primarily Alameda and Contra Costa County along with aid to 7 Bay Area Counties
