Extracurricular Activities

Kappa Delta Sorority (Fall 2018-Spring 2022)

  • Participated in community service projects such as raising money for Prevent Child Abuse of America, packaging meals, donating items to food drives, and working with local Girl Scout troops on receiving badges and selling cookies.
  • Helped recruit new members with Kappa Delta and with the College Panhellenic Conference as a Recruitment Guide (Rho Gamma).
  • Served as the chapter's Director of Alumni (Fall 2019-Spring 2022) to help keep alumni up-to-date with events by creating a monthly newsletter with Canva, communicating via social media and email, and planning events such as Homecoming lunches and a Women's Day event.
  • Served as a SET Leader (Fall 2020) which assists new members in their first semester of membership by hosting meetings, answering questions about the organization, and helping them stay up-to-date on events.
  • Served on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee (Spring 2021) which helped make Kappa Delta more inclusive for black members, members of color, LGBTQ+ members, etc, attending meetings about DE&I issues, and educating the chapter on said issues.


Undergraduate Student Government (Fall 2021-Spring 2022)

  • Served in the cabinet as the Director of Campus Affordability and was appointed for my work on the USG president's campaign and my work at the Student Financial Aid office.
  • Contributed to the creation and passage of resolutions such as a campus-wide vaccine mandate and offering reusable bags at campus stores.
  • Assisted in running events such as food drives and a charity 5K run for breast cancer awareness.

Model United Nations (Spring 2022)

  • Participated in the Model UN simulation in New York, NY in April 2022 alongside my peers at BGSU and students at other universities from across the United States and around the world.

  • Assisted in drafting mock resolution for the International Organization on Migration committee.

  • Participated in the 24 hour event and raised over $1,000 total for Children's Miracle Network hospitals
