Ministry Experience

  • RHYTHM (Three Rivers Assembly of God Youth Group), 07/01/16, 01/31/19, I began volunteering with RHYTHM in July of 2016 as part of a leadership team. We did not have a youth pastor at this time just a team working to develop and establish a new youth ministry from the ground up. In August I continued to volunteer and intern with the youth group. I was taught how to do media and a little with sound and the youth pastor mentored me for the past 2 1/2 years while working under him. We took our youth to youth convention and fine arts as well. This went on until I left for my Internship in Utah.
  • Internship Opportunity- 06/11/18-10/01/18, I went to Utah to intern with a church plant and help them grow their youth group and to help relate as well. I also had the opportunity to learn about the culture there. While there I worked for a company that also helped me develop better administration skills and customer service as well. While in Utah I was mentored by Pastors Tony and Shanda Simoncini. They poured into me and challenged me in my faith and helped to shape me in many ways. One thing I have felt was very important was discipleship, they took me under their wing and not only discipled me but they also taught me how to disciple and what true discipleship looks like. I also worked with the youth pastor, Scott Foster. I did sound and media for him some Wednesdays and also attended staff meetings to work with Pastor Tony and Pastor Scott to come up with new ideas. While in Utah Pastor Tony and Pastor Scott entrusted me with the girls in the youth group to do a Bible study called 'Lies young Women Believe and the Truth That Sets Them Free'.
  • Fine Arts, Fine Arts Festival is a discipleship tool of AG Youth Ministries designed to help students discover, develop, and deploy their ministry gifts. I began coaching Fine Arts and helping students tap into their giftings is so different. In doing this I have worked with students and helped them discover their gifts and also helped them develop them whether that be coming up with ideas and helping them put it all together, supporting and cheering them on, etc. This has also been an opportunity to teach them how to use these gifts for Jesus.
  • That Girl, 10/01/19, That Girl is a bible study for middle and high school girls that I started in October of 2019. I did not use a curriculum, it is Holy Spirit led. The goal of this bible study was discipleship and growing in their walk with Jesus. Another goal is to disciple these girls so that they can go make disciples.
  • discipleship2015-Present-JH Outback is a Reconciliation ministry that is a branch of JH Ranch. I have lead the volunteer team, I have coached and mentored the middle and high school girls, I have created disciplship tools for the middle and high school girls and guys to take with them, I have been apart of the prayer team and will be taking over the leadership position starting in Fall of 2024.
  • Outreach and Missions- I have done missions trips to San Diego CA, New York City, New Orleans LA, Colorado City Arizona, and Etna California. I have done many outreaches in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores as well. Each trip and outreach has been about sharing the Gospel and intercession prayer.
  • Sunday School, I taught Preschool Sunday School at my church for about 3-4 years. I planned snack, crafts, and lessons to do with the children in my classroom.
