Since earning a doudle MFA in 1982 I have been a professional artist, exporing a myriad of mediums. My approach as a creator is to challenege myself with two words. "What If."
While in Graduate School at Washington State University, under both the Education Department and Fine Art Department as part of my Full Ride Scholarship, I had a full teaching load while carrying 60 units per semester. I taught Developmental Studies of Children's Art. It was a combination of lecture and studio work for would be Elementary School Teachers. This was in the Education Department.
In the Fine Art Department I taught the basics. Basic Design, Creative Drawing and color theory were among the college level classes.
After Graduate School and moving to Laguna Beach, CA, I taught privately for groups of 10-12 adult students. Everything from Painting, to Printmaking and Experimental Mixed Media.
In the past two years, I taught Ceramics for LOCA, in Laguna Beach, CA.
Last year I implemented a program for The Festival of Arts called Artists on Artists.
I have exhibited as a Professional Artist throughout my career since 1982.

We have two beautiful pups. One is a two year old Standard Poodle named Rio. He's more like a pony! Our other dog is actually Rio's doggie. He had severe separation anxiety after our very senior fellow pass away. So on December 20th, 2021 we adopted the cutest little rescue pup. She's a Mini Sheep-Doodle. We named her Noodle. She just turned a year and is the light of Rio's life. So we have a Noodle and a Poodle.
I truly believe Dogs make us much better humans.
