I am a dedicated teacher with demonstrated ability to motivate and engage students in learning. In the past, I have managed diverse classrooms, assessed student progress and developed positive relationships with students and parents. As a teacher, my top priority is the success and well being of my students. I want school to be a joyful place where my students love learn.
Throughout my time at San Augustine Elementary School (SAE), I worked as a Kindergarten teacher. I taught core curriculum to my students throughout the day. I taught in both whole-class and small-group settings throughout the day. My students ranged from the ages of 4-6 years old.
Throughout my time at Grace Bible Church, I have volunteered and taught babies & 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, Kindergarten, and 1st grade. While in these classes I was tasked with teaching lessons, building relationships with students, controlling classroom management, and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
Throughout my time at SFA Charter school, I have worked in both 3rd grade and kindergarten. While in these classes I was tasked with creating lesson plans, teaching lessons, conferring with students, controlling classroom management, and teaching small groups.
Throughout my time at the ECHL, I was a teacher’s assistant for the 1s, 2s, pre-k 1 and pre-k 2. Some of my tasks would include classroom management, assisting in lessons, diaper changing, restroom management, and any jobs that assisted the teacher in completing her lessons and tasks.
