Kate McLauchlan is a dedicated young professional from Central Texas, whose passion for riding ignited at the age of four at Switch Willo Stables. From an early age, Kate was determined to transform her newfound love for horses into a rewarding career.
Throughout her junior years, she served as a working student at several barns in Zone 7, where she cultivated a strong work ethic and an eagerness to learn from industry experts. Kate attended Sweet Briar College with her horse, competing in various shows before transitioning to a professional role under the mentorship of Jennifer Alfano.
During her time working with Jennifer, Kate developed a profound respect for the art of training young horses and mastering the intricacies of the Hunter ring. She is disciplined in her approach to grooming and emphasizes correct horse care from the ground up.
