I began participating in the National Charity League in June of my 7th-grade year and have remained involved through high school, committing to consistent volunteer service each year. I have contributed numerous hours annually and am currently on track to complete approximately 60–65 hours this year. Through this program, I have had the opportunity to support my community in a variety of ways, including preparing meals for individuals experiencing homelessness and volunteering at local city and community events.
