Kate Wise

- I worked with both age groups rising kindergarteners and first graders as well as rising fourth and fifth graders.

- I led team time first thing in the morning which involved everyone getting to know each other as well as a little game before we headed to our first rotation of the day.

- I helped out in the classrooms during activities and also helped lead the activities and games we played with them during outdoor time.

- I watched over the campers during snack and lunch time.

• I spent time with young kids by helping them with their homework, playing games with them, preparing small snacks and meals, and putting them to bed if required.
• Fostered creativity through puzzles, games, reading, and coloring.
• I took my job seriously and made sure the kids had a great time, but also made sure they followed the house rules the parents set.
• I still talk to many of the parents and am grateful for the referrals they gave me since this was a perfect job for a student.

• Prepared food and water following instructions from pet owners. Also provided treats if owner okayed them.
• Walked the dogs daily for exercise.
• Played with the pets so they were happy and stimulated.
• Made sure the house was secure before leaving by setting alarm and locking the doors.

I sorted and organized donations to the shelter and cleaned up animal areas. I was always on time and showed up for my shifts.

Volunteered at a senior daycare and was responsible for taking them on walks, doing arts and crafts, playing games with them, and spending time talking to them.

I also did in-chair exercises with the seniors.

It was very fulfilling to see how happy they were when they had company.

I was part of a service club at my high school and spent time making holiday gift bags/cards for children in need and also collected donations for the homeless.
