- Hired as a full-time teacher following a position as a k-2 Paraprofessional at Propel Northside, instructing all academic subject areas for students in 2nd Grade.

- Member of the positive school-wide behavior committee working with Penn State University on implementing Project TEAM.
- Explored the use of technology in the classroom through differentiated programs such as FrontRow, DreamBox and eSpark.
- Attended PETE&C (Pennsylvania Educational Technology Expo and Conference) in Hershey, PA February 2018 to gain knowledge and ideas of how to expand my usage of technology in my classroom.
- Established positive, close relationships with parents by using communication apps such as Remind 101 and a classroom website.
- Worked closely with teachers beyond my grade-span to co-plan and execute school-wide STEAM projects that encourage learning through self-discovery and higher order thinking problem solving.
- Implemented data-driven instruction through intervention blocks based off of a number of summative and formative assessments including but not limited to NWEA MAP assessments, DIBELS, DRA, 4sight, etc.
- Worked collaboratively with instructional coaches to analyze data to form a rigorous intervention/enrichment ELA block that reaches students at every level.
