My duties are as follows: Starting with opening the restaurant, clearing any overnight debris, trash and setting the tables for guest. Preparing beverages and garnishes, polishing silverware, and making sure the overall appearance and tone of the store is ready for a wonderful dining experience.
I promptly greet each guest with a friendly professional approach, walking them through the menu. I have been very well versed in every food item, surely to know what type of allergies could be an issue for the guests and an extensive knowledge of the different types of beer, wine and liquor as well.
I am very sure to stay within our guided steps of service, offering appetizers, suggesting entrees, and upselling and desserts. Upselling is one of the many skills I have acquired in the years of experience.
I am observant to the guests wants and needs prior to them having to ask. I also consider being confidence to be skill in the industry as far as being able to converse with guests, and getting to know them for a brief moment to guide the direction of their preferred service type. My job requires me to be very detailed, and even the smallest ones are important.
