-upholding strict standards of hygiene and care for a herd of 84 cattle both in cattle housing areas and in the milking parlor

-cleaning stalls and walkways, monitoring feed intake and cattle health (i.e. behavior, signs of lameness, milk production, fecal/urinary production)

-completing chores and milking efficiently

-Managing and delegating tasks related to barn upkeep and camper activities to junior staff members

-Supervising campers through the day and at night, creating activities and teaching beginner/intermediate horsemanship

-Overseeing a herd of 55 horses through regular maintenance (feeding based on specific health needs, grooming/tacking, checking for health problems and lameness, administering basic medical treatment) as well as herding out and in

-Ensuring safety in swimming and boating activities through lifeguarding and safety boating, as well as leading and managing activities in sailing and windsurfing
