• Performs EKGs
• Patient preparation for clinic visits; and
• Administers adolescent and adult immunizations
• Escorts patient to exam room; measures and records vital signs
• Prepares patient for examination or treatment and performs routine screening tests. Explains treatment procedures to patients
• Processes requests for prescription refills according to established practice
• Collects patient demographic and insurance data and enters into systems as well as assigns medical record numbers
• Schedules and edits and maintains patient physician appointments for new and returning patients, using the scheduling system
• Assists physicians with procedure set-ups, patient procedures and examinations. Administers medication by intradermal, subcutaneous, or intramuscular injections, performs skin tests, glucose pumps,glucose test,diabetes sensors and other technical supportive services upon the specific authorization and supervision of a licensed physician. Administers medication following approved procedures and only after verification of medication and dosage by a licensed person.

CCU & ICU Units

Escorts patient to exam room; measures and records vital signs

• Prepares patient for examination or treatment and performs routine screening tests. Explains treatment procedures to patients
• Assist nurses and Doctor with emergencies for example code blue ,CPR etc.

• Performs routine examination and treatment procedures and include: applying and removing bandages and dressings, removing sutures and casts, cleaning wounds and applying medications and dressings, performing baths , preparing patients for examinations, and shaving and disinfecting treatment sites
• Collects patient demographic and insurance data and enters into systems as well as assigns medical record numbers
• Schedules and edits and maintains patient physician appointments for new and returning patients, using the scheduling system
• Assists physicians with procedure set-ups, patient procedures and examinations. Administers medication by intradermal, subcutaneous, or intramuscular injections, performs skin tests, venipunctures and other technical supportive services upon the specific authorization and supervision of a licensed physician.
