As an NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer and LEED AP, I take pleasure in creating innovative spaces for people to enjoy. With ten years in the profession, my experience as an in-house designer for a commercial real estate company gives me a unique perspective and skill set for an interior designer. I know how to look at a dated space and think about how its location, existing building architecture, budgetary constraints, and proposed usage will shape its renovation. From project conceptualization to completion, I have practice discovering and visualizing the story of what a space wants to become. I love the nature of the collaborative process, the push and pull of ideas. Sometimes ideas come out of nowhere, sometimes they are a slow crescendo. The important thing is keeping an open mind to the creative process. Adept at multi-tasking and developing creative solutions, I have a demonstrated history of success in coordinating with vendors and construction teams to complete projects aligned with our goals, specifications, and budget requirements.
My most recent director of design says my biggest strength “is the creative vision, passion, [and] attention to detail” I bring to every project. I think not only about the flow, function, and aesthetic quality of a design, but also about how the areas I create help support those distinct moments and activities that make a place feel special.
