Accomplishments

    I am currently the President of SCANS which is the Southern Colorado Association of Nursing Students. We are the Southern Colorado Division of the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA). Our goal and purpose is to optimize the nursing student experience. We host events, do give always, NCLEX study sessions, specialty speakers, ect.. Every year there is a National Convention that the NSNA hosts. Here there is a state representatives portion where students create resolutions for the NSNA and the ANA to consider and endorse. I was selected by my school to be a representative from Colorado and to vote upon the resolution's. I was 1 of 6 Colorado Voting Delegates at the 2023 NSNA Convention.
