- MTW is a community theatre program that offers school year & summer classes to K-8th graders and produces two full-scale Broadway productions each year. MTW’s goal is to offer young people an opportunity to learn about and experience musical theatre. I have worked with K-8th graders in both school-year and summer programs.
- Duties include: Assisting with all acting, dance, and music classes and rehearsals, as well as stagecraft; leading improv games and other activities; collaborating with directors on casting and staging scenes; leading dance classes and warmups; choreographing dance numbers; leading after-care programs.
- Collaborated with and established positive relationships with my co-workers and students. Assisted directors with creating and maintaining a safe, orderly learning environment where students felt comfortable.
- Occasionally helped with Main Stage productions as backstage crew. Responsibilities include carrying, maintaining, and setting/striking set pieces and props; assisting and managing all actors backstage; and collaborating with directors and designers.
