Was able to advance at the News into many positions furthering my career, the most notable here is from 2002 to 2007 where I performed the following tasks as an Accounts Payable Clerk:

• Entered invoices and expense reports into the AP system for weekly check runs of 500-1,000 checks and ACHs
• Maintained vendor tax records and compiled 1099 files for corporate office
• Backed up the payroll position during vacations and leaves (duties included double checking employee time files, reviewing check register for errors, and completing manual payroll checks when required)
