Command Managed Equal Opportunity Manager

The CMEO program manager functions as a single point of contact when a command climate specialist is not assigned to the command for MEO matters within the command. Duties and responsibilities of a CMEO program manager consist of, but is not limited to the following:

  • Serve as the coordinator for the command climate assessment
  • Organize DEOCS data analysis team to identify trends and risk factors for destructive behaviors
  • Assist Service Members who believe they have been subjected to harassment or prohibited discrimination in determining available resolution options.
  • Process all harassment and prohibited discrimination reports
  • Provide command statistics regarding discrimination, harassment (to include discriminatory harassment, sexual harassment, hazing, and bullying), and fraternization to the commander
  • Track, monitor, report and provide status updates on harassment and prohibited discrimination complaints to the respective CCS
  • Coordinate and monitor MEO training when directed by the commander
