After much deliberation, I took several months off over the holidays between positions. This planned respite was equal parts terrifying and freeing, and I loved every moment of both sides of the coin. Grateful to have been in the position to take the leap. This time was spent traveling, visiting family, cooking, taking care of my health, working on creative projects, reading a million books, and enjoying fresh air in the great outdoors.
