  • IMPROVE EFFICIENCY in the Cardiac Cath Lab by assisting with equipment setup, calibration, and maintenance.

  • PROVIDE CLEAR AND IMPACTFUL PATIENT EDUCATION AND EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION to ensure the best post-procedural outcomes and patient safety. Patients and their families are educated on the catheterizations process and what to expect prior to and during their procedure. Afterwards, detailed discharge education is given to ensure safe healing and best patient outcomes. Follow up care and education days after the procedure is performed to ensure ongoing care plan compliance. In addition to curative/treatment-based healthcare, education commonly has a strong emphasis on preventative medicine including lifestyle modifications, appropriate screenings and immunizations.
  • PROVIDE HOLISTIC CARE TO PATIENTS WITHIN THE PRACTICE, outside of those receiving heart catheterizations, through medication refills and counseling, education on other cardiac testing results, implementation of care plans designed by physicians and nurse practitioners and collaborating with other healthcare specialties to ensure complete patient care.
