  • 40 Hrs/wk- Performs Ultrasound exams, working as a team to provide quick, efficient quality scans to our nations' Veterans.
  • Performing routine and stat exams and procedures working side-by-side with Radiologists, Nurse Practioners and IR nurses to deliver high quality care to Veterans
  • Participated in the "above and beyond" award program yearly. Performing duties outside of my normal requirements, including working with MSA's to correct scheduling errors, often looking ahead at next day schedules to ensure smooth work flow processes.
  • While independently working the Bradenton CBOC, I routinely and often reach out to ordering physicians for order corrections/clarifications.
  • Volunteered to oversee entire Ultrasound Department’s supplies list, identifying expired supplies to reduce waste and to remain in compliance.
  • Rotate with 5 other technologists with taking Call for the Ultrasound Department.
  • Participated in training and teaching our HCC Ultrasound students who rotated through our department every 8 weeks. Showing past cases and dedicated time to mentoring our future Ultrasound Technologists.
  • Received multiple awards and recognitions, including "On-the-Spot" Award for taking Call in an emergent situation when another technologist was unable to. Recognized by our Assistant Chief Radiologist for outstanding care given to our Women Veterans on multiple occasions.
