Provided part time care for their child from ages 6 months to 5 years. I was highly regarded and trusted by this family. I became like a third grandmother to the child providing care, love, security, and enrichment.

The child was found to be on the autism spectrum so I provided and nurtured the activities recommended by the professionals who saw him routinely.

The family moved away to Memphis but we still stay in touch.

I began work there as a membership recruiter visiting selected homes and creating a relationship of trust in order to gain their cooperation in becoming Nielsen TV ratings members. This included a great deal of planning, organization, and self-motivation since we worked from home and traveled to the member homes. I was so successful at my job that in less than two years I was promoted to the position of manager overseeing the membership recruiters in the states of Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.

I left to care for an aging parent who needed full time care.
