Kathleen Gallagher

In the 12 years I have been teaching, I have had the privilege to work and learn along side amazing educators, principals, and educational staff. In those years, I developed a sense of what relationships in education look like. I am a firm believer in advocating for my students and collaborating with colleagues to best meet my students' needs. Having gotten to work with diverse learners, from newcomer EL students to students with disabilities, I take pride in my ability to effectively implement curriculum while meeting the needs of my classroom. I am particularly passionate about working with students who need extra layers of support. Furthermore, as I have gained experience in my career, I have found an interest in working with university students to foster their knowledge of best practices in the classroom, as well as a love of teaching.
