  • Performed peripheral venous and arterial duplex scanning, graft surveillance and arterial physiological studies in hospital's vascular laboratory.

  • Registered Vascular Technician since 1996; Instead of traditional sonographer educational program was granted through ARDMS to prepare and qualify for boards under direction of vascular laboratory's medical director, technical director, sonographic physics seminars and extensive self study.
  • Competent in performing peripheral venous and arterial scanning duplex ultrasounds, graft surveillance and arterial physiologic studies in hospital's vascular laboratory. Patients included both inpatients and outpatients.
  • When occasion arose, participated in compression therapy to treat arterial pseudoaneurysms
  • Cared for patients while in laboratory, explaining specific exams and providing vascular education as needed.
  • Responsible for relaying preliminary results, both normal and abnormal, to ordering physician in timely manner in order to provide efficient continuity of patient care.
