I combine a diverse array of work experience to aid in continuous development as a sales associate and cashier and as a tutor. In each of my job positions, I find satisfaction and joy in being a helping hand with others’ needs and challenges.

As a peer tutor, I provide academic support and assistance for students enrolled in the general education course Classical Mythology. I work with students to find sources of confusion and/or misunderstanding regarding class content. During my tutoring sessions, I strive to incorporate different learning styles to provide students with numerous ways to succeed. Biweekly, I attend training sessions to acquire knowledge to further my development as a tutor. Working as a tutor entails constant communication with leadership, students, and the class professor regarding goals, plans and outcomes of tutoring sessions.
When acting as a sales associate, I am primarily responsible for assisting customers, and communicating with them current discounts and sales. In the role of a cashier, I handle transactions and encourage customers to apply for credit cards. Other more general responsibilities include maintaining the store’s appearance and packaging clothes to be shipped.

Monitored and ensured safety of guests; took rescue measures when necessary such as aiding injuries and performing saves. I communicated with guests to reiterate rules and safety guidelines. Completed weekly inservice trainings to maintain certifications and skills.
