  • Co-author of 2023 publication submitted and presented to the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists (SCA). Title: Impact of Right Ventricular Deformation Imaging in Lung Transplant Surgery
  • Responsible for providing the appropriate echocardiography equipment for the Cardiac OR, Interventional Cardiology Department and Cardiothoracic ICU.
  • Responded to any urgent or emergent requests for an intraoperative transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE).
  • Provided sterile probes and performed the quality assurance needed to comply with safety guidelines.
  • Team collaboration with Central Processing, Healthcare IT, Billing, ultrasound companies and other clinicians (anesthesiologists, cardiologists, intensivists and nurses).

Resurrection Church/Children Without Borders

  • Volunteered in three poverty-stricken cities in New England and traveled to Costa Rica in 2011 through Children Without Borders. Provided various acts of service and charity from painting to remodeling homes and distributing food in the following cities: San Jose, Worcester, Providence and Delaware.
  • Cleaned up the community (river banks, homes, sidewalks, corner stores) in the neighborhoods and provided a culture experience together with our group and local Costa Rican adolescence who volunteered alongside us. Staffed after school care for young disadvantaged youth.
