Summary

I am a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and registered nurse with more than a decade of clinical experience, providing direct patient care in diverse healthcare settings since 2013. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care that promotes healing, dignity, and improved quality of life. I am certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and have developed strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and a collaborative approach to patient care.

My passion for mental health extends beyond my professional experience. My family has been personally impacted by mental illness and co-occurring medical conditions, giving me a unique perspective on the challenges faced by individuals and their loved ones. These experiences have strengthened my empathy and reinforced my commitment to advocating for those seeking hope, healing, and recovery. I firmly believe that mental health is equally as important as physical health and strive to integrate both into every aspect of my practice, providing holistic, compassionate care to every patient.

Professionally, my goal is to deliver high-quality psychiatric care to individuals across the lifespan, particularly those in underserved communities. I am dedicated to reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness, promoting wellness through education and evidence-based treatment, and empowering patients to achieve meaningful recovery and improved functioning.

I am also deeply committed to lifelong learning and professional excellence. I graduated at the top of my class and have earned the respect and trust of colleagues, mentors, and patients through my work ethic, integrity, and dedication to compassionate care. I believe that exceptional psychiatric care is built on clinical expertise, empathy, collaboration, and genuine human connection.

Outside of my career, I have been happily married to my husband for twenty-one years, and together we are raising our four wonderful sons. My family is my greatest source of strength and inspiration, continually reminding me of the importance of compassion, resilience, and service to others.

As I continue my career as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I am seeking more than a position—I am looking for a professional home where I can grow, contribute, and make a lasting difference. I bring loyalty, dedication, clinical excellence, and a sincere desire to walk alongside individuals on their journey toward mental wellness, recovery, and hope.
