Summary

I am an undergraduate education student seeking certification in Early Childhood PK-3rd grade. My teaching philosophy about educating young children is that all children are unique and deserve an inclusive, stimulating environment where they can engage in play-based learning that promotes physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. As a teacher, I aim to enter the classroom with a growth mindset, positive attitude, conscientiousness, diligence, professionalism, and strategies to ensure students will flourish. Overall, I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where students can take risks, share their ideas, experience multicultural education, engage in hands-on activities, and let their curiosity direct their learning.
