Patients have posted TY notes, a Resident Counsel nominated me for an award. I receive cards/goodies
I had a resident who took a lot of medications, which could take awhile. Many were OTC supplements. She appreciated I didn't make her rushed because they were her own bottles plus pharmacy bingo cards. I take supplements also, so I understood she wanted to continue her regimen. She wrote the sweet THANK-U note that was posted in the hallway.
I returned to my med cart one evening shift, to a yummy cupcake from a visiting family member.
I ended up working my birthday one year because the unit was short. My shift was covered the next day and upon my return, there was a Resident Counsel meeting, ME being nominated as Employee of the Month!
