Police Officer, with over 27 years of experience, who has been highly trained in building relationships with community members from diverse backgrounds and well versed in conflict resolution. Spent 12 Years assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division, where as a Detective, I was tasked with investigating crimes against persons and property, crimes against the elderly, domestic abuse and preserving and commanding crime scenes. Obtained certifications in Critical Incident Stress Management, Recovery Coaching and Peer to Peer Support. Continually worked on various task forces where I developed the ability to adapt to different styles of management and to adopt team oriented goals. Also spent time teaching the community about safety measures, conducted threat assessments for various groups and institutions and helped implement safety plans as a result of the assessments.
