• Golden Apple Scholars Program, Current Scholar, Resided in Portales, NM for 3 weeks to attend a scholar institute for future Educators in New Mexico. Focused on identity-based literacy instruction, Growth Mindset, Culture and Community & civic praxis, and professionalism. Assisted in the STEM program at Camp Wildcat (Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 6th grade). Attended informational workshops for subjects such as class management, differentiated instruction, diverse learning strategies, and much more.
