- Collaborate with students and families on college application process: identifying target schools, facilitating application and recommendation process, assisting with essays, managing deadlines, preparing for interview process, guiding students and families through financial aid process
- Facilitate organizational strategies to be used across curriculum and throughout college application process through group and individual sessions
- Develop effective and productive communication between parents, students, high schools and colleges
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and continuous assessment of consulting staff
- Conduct parent and staff meetings to discuss and plan for students' progress
- Lead team meetings and monitor individual progress, goals, and support
- Design, coordinate, and facilitate peer mentoring programs and study groups
- Develop differentiated instruction for successful and diverse programs
- Advocate for special educational services: Attend IEP meetings, interpret educational and psychological testing and help construct IEPs, 504 Plans, and ICAPs.
- Provide support and modifications for students with special needs: ADD, Processing issues, Executive Functioning, Language Based Needs, Dyslexia, Bipolar, Anxiety
- Implement mindfulness into aspects of the curriculum to ensure a calming environment
