My name is Luis Montero and I have been the Tax Manager at Bushnell and Associates for the last five years and have been employed at Bushnell and Associates for almost seven years. Throughout my seven years, I have worked with several people that have worked in Kathryn’s current position, but Kathryn’s self-motivation and leadership skills have really excelled her in that position compared to her past peers. I continue to be impressed with her passion towards her job and the firm.

Our business environment deals with multiple deadlines throughout the year that can be stressful. I have always been able to rely on Kathryn’s loyalty and willingness to get us through the multiple tax deadlines. Her time management and attention-to-details skills are invaluable and have helped Bushnell and Associates countless times.

Kathryn’s role as an Office Manager/ Administrator is a very daunting role at our firm and she impressed me from day one. From the beginning she has been a willing learner, and goes above and beyond towards the success of the firm. Her mistakes are minimal (if any), and if they occur, she goes through great measure to make sure they never happen again.

The 2021 Tax Season impressed me the most with Kathryn’s work ethic. We adopted, as a firm, a more paperless filing approach and encouraged all our 800+ clients to submit their information electronically. Ninety percent of our clients obliged, and this increased Kathryn’s workload substantially. She was a great team member and handled 100% of the responsibilities of checking in, organizing, and delegating the tax information as it came in. She was willing to work weekends and stay later than expected to get the work accomplished. I am confident Kathryn will be a great asset to your business.
