Work as a PRN OR Radiologic Technologist, ranging from pain management, orthopedic, and spinal surgeries. I fulfill the radiology staffing needs of hospitals, clinics, and physician offices. I work together with the permanent staff to ensure staff and patient safety as well as maintain a high standard of fluoroscopic images for the physician. I handle C-arm set up, take down, fill out required radiation logs, help expedite room turn overs, and any other tasks required by the location. I have worked with both GE and Siemens C-arm systems to maintain patient lists, and upload images to PACS systems.

• Alternated between scrubbing tasks and Rad Tech for various outpatient vascular procedures in an office based lab setting.
• Tasks included: preparing procedure room, opening and maintaining surgical fields, assisting physician with embolizations, stenting, diagnostic vascular procedures, and room turnover. Using a wide variety of medical devices for catheterization, ballooning, wires, stents, lasers, IVUS, and C-arms.

• Transporting x-ray unit into various locations based on patients' needs and locations, ranging from facilities to personal homes.
• Take diagnostic radiographs per physician orders with expertise, verifying exam ordered and patient condition within their personal limits for best images achievable with strict ALARA focus at all times.
• Brought human compassion to best meet the needs of the patients, especially those unable to travel outside of their home for the best care possible.
• Working as a team with staff and family to ensure excellent care for the patients to create optimal image for each patient
• Took care of company van while in transit, ensuring the proper care was taken to keep x ray equipment, computers, and other tools where safely stored while traveling.

• Setting up sterile fields, draping and assisting in:
• Interventional radiology procedures such as ports, drains, and filters
• Vascular procedures both diagnostic and interventional such as run offs, thrombectomies, and stents
• Neuro Vascular procedures both diagnostic and interventional (strokes, stenting, embolizing)
• Working in conjunction with the OR team for various vascular cases such as T-Cars, AAAs, and vascular emergency surgeries
• Familiar with variety of access sites, sheaths, wires and catheter
• Experience with IVUS, Auyuron Lasers, Intravascular balloons (both, DCB and regular)
• Other Interventional procedures assisted with: permcaths, mediports, and PEG tube patients.
• Helped in training another rad tech to solidify our knowledge of procedures, expectations, and equipment.

• Run C-Arm in special procedures and OR cases ranging from urology, orthopedics and spine with GE OEC Elite and GE OEC 9900.
• Trained in intraoperative 3D images with GE OEC 3D C-arm.
• Take outpatient and inpatient X Rays and set up sterile trays and perform fluoroscopic procedures such as HSGs, Cystograms, and Myelograms.
• Took over the center's Hazardous Materials Hot Lab to include: radiation logs, ordering, handling, and preparations of radioactive materials for Sentinel Node Injections in both the radiology department and main OR. Educated multiple XR techs on safe handling and patient injections.
• Educated all new rad tech graduates how to operate C-Arms in a variety of surgeries and procedures.
• Uploads and documents properly on both EPIC EMR and PACS systems.

• Transporting X-ray equipment to facilities for bedside imaging, verifying physician orders and patient information. Utilizing Konica Ultra, Rapid Rad, and Microsoft Office programs with a Source One SR-130 mobile x-ray unit.

• Through this agency I was placed in a variety of locations mainly focused on pain procedures and surgeries using multiple types of C-arms.

• With the imaging team, I covered fluoroscopic imaging needs in our main OR for a variety of procedures ranging from orthopedics and spinal fusion to urology and port placements. In the Outpatient Surgical Department, I provided fluoroscopy in pain procedures, extremity orthopedics, and podiatry. In the imaging department and ER, I performed diagnostic quality images, assisted with myelograms and arthrograms.
