I am currently a floor nurse working on a Post-Surgical Unit.

• Pre-Admission Testing P.M . Charge Nurse
• Assisted anesthesia and surgeons with preparing patients for surgery by completing a full medical history and setting up outpatient testing via telephone
• As supervisor, my job was to make sure all of the next day surgeries were good to continue.

• Patient Command Center P.M. Shift Supervisor
• As supervisor, I was in charge of bed placement and transfer center for all of the Advocate hospitals.

• Orthopedic, Spinal, and Medical patients
• I was a floor nurse who took care of post-surgical orthopedic, spinal and medical patients.

• Midnight Supervisor
• Resource Nurse
• Post-Surgical Adult Patients including: Bariatric, Spinal, Orthopedic, GI, and ENT
• ICU step down
• I was the midnight supervisor of a small 18 bed unit
• As a resource nurse, I would help all the floors with I.V
• Insertions, N.G
• Placements, medications pass, Admissions, and breaks
• I also trained new registered nurses as well as education in post-surgical care.
