• Diagnosis and management of up to ten Critical Care patients in the Cardiac Surgery Unit
• Collaborate with Cardiac and Thoracic Surgeons, make appropriate referrals for Patients including, but not limited to, pulmonary, renal, endocrine, cardiology, surgery.

• Diagnosis and management of up to twelve Critical Care patients in the Cardiovascular Recovery Room, up to eighteen Critical Care patients in Surgical Critical Care Units
• Collaborate with Intensivists, and Cardiac, Trauma, General, Thoracic, Neuro, Oncological Surgeons.

• Instructed, Health Assessment Course, masters level course for Acute Care Nurse Practitioners.

• Managed care of critically ill clients in a variety of critical care settings.

• Provided direct management to post-cardiothoracic surgery clients
• Evaluated the performance of three Associate Partner and two Nursing Extenders.

• Evaluation and care of critical care patients.

• Directed, managed and evaluated Registered Nurses and Medical Technicians caring for fourteen critical care patients
• Developed and implemented new staff orientation program, cardiac arrest response program and critical care assessment skills.
