This corporation is the 5th largest in the US, with divisions coast to west coast, Alaska to Florida. Duties included: communication primarily by an electronic phone system, teams, email and FAX. This is one of the larger divisions and each employee was assigned several specific tasks as part of the processing system and cross trained on all tasks. I was assigned to analyze data. Data processing, documenting, recording information. Intake and processing faxed orders for equipment and service. Creating patient files and orders, uploading and requesting documents and communicating with doctor offices and patients. Verifying insurance information and compliance standards. Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA, OSHA, State and Federal regulations.
  • Worked at this division first, on location at the office. Working directly with the public, coworkers, peers, other divisions and people outside the company. Doing many of the same tasks as described above. This division is much smaller and therefore all employees work on all tasks. Take or enter orders, or obtain details of complaints, keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, interpreting the meaning of information for others as well as actions taken. Making decisions and solving problems. Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results or any planned adjustments.
